Overview
A ceramic atomizer that turns CO₂ into an ultra-fine mist, with an average bubble size of under 0.1 mm, designed for a very high dissolution rate. It’s made for canister filters, and it has a few operating conditions, listed first so you get the performance it’s designed for.
Before you install
- Use only high-pressure-rated, acid-resistant CO₂ tubing. Silicone tubing is not recommended.
- A minimum of 30 PSI of pressure is required to operate the atomizer correctly.
- Handle with care, and avoid direct contact with the ceramic disc.
Use only CO₂ pressure-rated tubing. Do not use silicone tubing: it must be acid-resistant and rated for high working pressure.
How it works
The ceramic core produces an ultra-fine mist with an average bubble size of less than 0.1 mm, maximising surface area contact and CO₂ dissolution. It mounts inline with canister filter tubing, and it’s simple to install below the aquarium or directly to it.

Keeping it clean
Clean the atomizer with a 3:1 water-to-bleach solution overnight every 6 months, or as necessary, to maintain diffusion performance.
