This policy applies to purchases from Green Aquarium (ABN 55 603 092 667) and should be read with our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Change of mind

We don’t offer returns, exchanges or refunds if you change your mind. This doesn’t affect your rights if a product is faulty or isn’t what you ordered.

Live plants, livestock and fertilisers

If a live plant, livestock or fertiliser product arrives dead, damaged or in an unacceptable condition, contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Photographs of the product and its packaging are required for every claim. We’ll assess each claim and provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.

Hardware and equipment

If hardware or equipment (such as CO₂ systems, tools and lighting) is faulty, contact us within 12 months of delivery. Photographs showing the fault are required. We’ll provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.

Wrong items

If we send you the wrong item, we’ll send the correct item at our cost.

How to make a claim

Email [email protected] with your order number, a description of the problem and your photographs. Please don’t send anything back before contacting us. If we need the item returned, we’ll give you the return address.

Return postage

Where we ask for a faulty or wrongly supplied item to be returned, we’ll cover the reasonable cost of return postage.

Refunds

Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method. Refunds can take 5 to 10 business days, and your bank, card provider, PayPal or Afterpay may need extra time to show the payment.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You’re also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure doesn’t amount to a major failure. The time limits above don’t take away these rights.
